The European Golf Course

Brittas Bay, County Wicklow

The European Golf Course

The European Club is the creation of Pat Ruddy, Ireland's foremost golf architect. Stunningly situated on the east coast of Ireland at Brittas Bay, this links is demanding but thoroughly enjoyable. While linksland on the east coast tends to be less spectacular than in the north or west, the European nonetheless is sited amongst high dunes, with a number of natural watercourses and the traditional riveted bunkers that are a feature of Ruddy's designs. Several holes run alongside the magnificent beach at Brittas Bay.
