Headfort New Golf Course

Headfort Golf Club was founded in 1928 on the mature woodlands on rolling terrain that formed part of Headfort Estate. The club purchased a parcel of land across the River Blackwater and commissioned Christy O'Connor Junior to design a new, second, course which opened for play in 2001. The New Course at Headfort is firmly established as one Ireland's leading parkland courses routed through mature woodland and criss-crossing the river, streams and lakes at almost every turn.
