Galway Golf Course
Galway, County Galway
Galway makes the most use of the space it has to provide a high quality parkland test overlooking Galway Bay. No less than Dr. Alister McKenzie, is purported to have outlined the positions of tees and greens before the club moved to its present site in 1925. Since then the greens have undergone extensive re-design but Galway still retains the charm and challenge of a course which has an abundance of trees, and particularly handsome gorse which sports a yellow bloom for months of the year.
